Celebrating Earth Hour 2025: A Musical Tribute to Our Planet

On March 19 and 20, we hosted an Unplugged Acoustic Concert during lunch recess to celebrate Earth Hour 2025. Organized by our Green Ambassadors 2025, this event was a vibrant showcase of our commitment to environmental care, using the power of music to highlight the Earth’s beauty and inspire appreciation within our school community.

Our talented school choir and Green Ambassadors performed a captivating lineup of songs, including "The Circle of Life," "What a Wonderful World," "We Are the World," and "Over the Rainbow." These songs were chosen for their ability to reflect different aspects of our planet’s wonder and our role in its preservation. "The Circle of Life" celebrated the interconnectedness of all living things, while "What a Wonderful World" painted a picture of nature’s splendor—trees, skies, and blooming flowers. "We Are the World" echoed themes of unity and collective care for the Earth, and "Over the Rainbow" offered a vision of hope and harmony for the future.

Accompanied by acoustic instruments like the Saxophone and violin, the performances created an intimate and uplifting atmosphere that resonated with students and staff. One of our MCs noted, "These songs remind us of the Earth’s beauty and why it’s worth protecting." The unplugged format itself was a nod to sustainability, minimizing energy use while maximizing emotional impact.

This concert is about letting them feel the Earth’s beauty through music. By blending environmental themes with familiar melodies, we aimed to deepen their connection to the planet and foster a sense of wonder and responsibility. Through this event, our school proudly demonstrated how we nurture environmental awareness, inspiring our community to cherish and protect the world we share.

The P5-6 Mock Interview Sessions for Secondary School Application Preparation

We concluded the second session on 15th February. A big thank you to our dedicated parents who volunteered as mock interviewers. The interviews aimed to enhance students' awareness in preparing holistically—not only in terms of knowledge but also in manners and presentation skills.

During the interviews, students practiced self-introduction, interacted with interviewers, shared teamwork experiences, and discussed current social issues. Continued preparation is encouraged to help students build the confidence needed for real interviews.

Value Education Parent Workshops

We successfully completed the final session on 15th February, 2025. A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who participated. These workshops were designed to prepare parents for the rapidly changing world and emphasize the importance of compromise for better outcomes.

Education extends beyond children; it's for everyone. We firmly believe that when parents align with our values, we can make meaningful choices and create positive change to meet our needs.
