The school outdoor learning activity was held on 3rd October, 2022 (Monday) with about 1000 participants including teachers, students, parents and hiking coaches attending the activity. Students enjoyed a lot in the nature and had a great time that day!

This year there were 3 beaches and 3 hiking trails as the venue planned for different levels. P1-P3 were going Chung Hom Kok Beach, Big Wave Bay and Shek O Beach respectively while P4-P6 were having hiking activities in Aberdeen reservoir, Tai Tam reservoir and the Peak.

For junior levels going to the beach were having class team building activities and International Coastal Cleanup Hong Kong 2022. Students enjoyed a lot in the team building games and also very involved in the cleanup activity. For Senior levels students, with the accompany and supervision by professional instructors and teachers, they learnt much about the local biodiversity, geology, culture preservation, international environment preservation and the importance of protecting the environment.

Congratulations to our Chinese Folk Dance team for winning the ‘Highly Commended Award’ for their amazing performance at the 57th Hong Kong Schools Dance Festival (Upper Primary School Section). Look at how our young dancers transformed into these beautiful Jindalrae (金達萊花) and danced freely in nature.

9.21 International Peace Day is a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace and promote peace.
We committed this idea with our actions through different activities.
Our selected P.4-6 Peace Ambassadors with our teachers visited two kindergartens for spreading love and peace message to K2 & K3 students.
The highlight of the day was started with an interesting Bee Talk by Beetales followed by taking a close look at bees after the talk.
A de-briefing session was delivered to students about why bees are important and how we sustain living healthily.
Re-dress was the hand-on activity that students turned an old T-shirt into a tote bag or an apron which used to reinforce the ideas of reuse, recycle and re-create.
To end the learning day, a prayer meeting with beautiful hymns was held to thank God’s creation on Earth. We should all be bear in mind that Leave No Trace to nature and live a simple life that less is more in our daily practice.
